The existing platforms seemed to favor certain systems, leaving console players and server owners without a proper home to showcase their communities.
I set out to create a platform that I would be happy to use, originally launching under the domain dayzfriends.xyz. The vision was simple but important: create a space where all DayZ servers could thrive, regardless of platform.
Recognizing the need for a stronger brand identity, I pivoted to a more unique name and registered Zrank.xyz. The site launched in its early form, but I knew there was still work to be done.
After a year with modest traction, I didn't give up hope. I began working on the idea again with renewed focus, this time registering topdayzservers.com to make it clearer to search engines and users what the website was all about.
The idea is simple: create a platform that serves the entire DayZ community. It's something I believe in, and it's something I want to keep free for the community forever.
